You know what, my mum’s brilliant. I’ve often thought it but there’s nothing like a reminder to really make you appreciate someone.
My reminder? Julie Myerson; the face of neurotic, Daily Mail reading, middle- aged women everywhere.
Her long suffering son, Jake, has my full sympathy. The most turbulent years of his teenage life have been chronicled by his “mother dearest” in her book “Living with teenagers; 3 kids, 2 parents, 1 hell of a bumpy ride”.
